The product is one Dutywall box at one physical site. Every screen on that box is included. You are not renting a player. The control plane is a separate service for people who want dutywall.com to run more than one site. Site licenses can be purchased with a card when Stripe prices are configured: you get a signed license.json to drop on your own box. Cloud accounts stay invite-only for now.
One license runs one appliance. A second building with its own box is a second license. Screens, Rokus, and TVs on that site are not counted. Buy a site license for DIY installs. After payment you download license.json and copy it to the box.
| Price | Who it is for | |
|---|---|---|
| Home | $0 | A household. One site. Up to 4 screens, and the word Home on every board instead of a logo. No support. |
| Business | $1,200 once per site | One facility: plant, clinic, school, shop. First year of updates included. |
| Enterprise | $1,000 once per site | Four sites or more, one contract. Same software as Business. |
After the first year, updates are $240/year for Business and $200 per site per year for Enterprise. If you do not renew, the box keeps the version it already has. Paying again is how that site gets new builds. The screens do not go dark.
The license is enough if you already have a computer. These are optional.
| Price | What arrives | |
|---|---|---|
| Software only | The license above | You supply the computer and install the box yourself. |
| Appliance | $1,800 once | The Business license, plus a tested mini PC (Intel N100 or N150, 16 GB, SSD) with Dutywall imaged. First year of updates included. After that, updates are $240/year, same as Business. |
| Pi kiosk | $149 | For a TV that is not already a Roku. Pi 4, power supply, SD card, case, and a short HDMI cable, flashed so it enrolls to your box. This is not another license. Bring your own Pi and there is no charge. TVs are not included. |
A Pi is usually a screen. Remuxing live cameras needs more CPU. See camera capacity. The appliance is the on-site box. A site that already runs a VM, the way a plant often does, buys the license and skips the mini PC.
Optional. The box does weather, news, tickers, cameras, web pages, NWS, and panic without an account. Cloud is how one organization pushes content to more than one site. It never dials into the building.
| Price | What it adds | |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud Free | $0 | 1 site, 1 screen. Enough to see the panel. |
| Cloud Standard | $8 / screen / month | Multi-site boards, hours, fleet push, timed announcements, layout presets, team (5), 7-day check-ins. News / sports / markets sync. |
| Cloud Pro | $15 / screen / month | Standard plus local & civic content pack (air quality, UV/pollen, quakes, tides, roads, school closings, calendar), sports team logos, remote relaunch/sideload, daily digests, 30-day check-ins, 24 presets, unlimited team, larger audit. |
| Facility Alerting | $149 / site / month up to 10 screens, $299 / site / month above that | Cloud emergency takeover from the panel (lockdown, drill + ack). Not included in Pro. The box already does NWS and a local panic button without it. |
Two different products: per-screen cloud control (Standard/Pro), and per-site Facility Alerting for remote emergencies. A facility can pay $1,200, run the box, and never open a cloud account.
One Dutywall appliance at one physical site, and every screen that talks to it. A second box is a second license.
No. Renewal is updates. The installed version keeps running.
No. Home is free. Business and Enterprise are the on-site product. Cloud Standard is $8 per screen per month only if you want dutywall.com to manage more than one site.
A Pi kiosk is $149 and enrolls that TV to the box you already have. It is not a second software license.
No. Software only is the license. The $1,800 appliance is the license plus a tested N100 or N150 box.
After checkout you get license.json by email and download link. Copy it to /var/www/roku/license.json on the box (or your DUTYWALL_DATA_DIR) and restart Dutywall. The Home watermark and 4-screen cap clear. Nothing phones home.
